In this class offered in the fall of 2003, Dr. Rae provides a focused look at the contemporary issues associated with scientific breakthroughs and the application of Christian ethics. He addresses both abortion and stem cell research, along with the different concerns associated with each. Dr. Rae also speaks on end of life issues, and of physician assisted suicide as well as care for the dying. And lastly, he addresses the beginning of life concerns, specifically concerning technologically assisted reproduction, genetic testing, and human cloning.
