The Greeks believed that correct thinking produced wisdom which, in turn, produced moral understanding. Romans proposed that civilization forms a moral reality of pragmatism. In Medieval times, natural law determined right and wrong from logically reflecting on available data. Modernity claimed that the only moral knowledge that matters was functional morality that liberates the oppressed in class struggle. In our postmodern era, morality is thought to be process of successive waves of human rationalization and expression. With such socially-constructed moral code, what should Christians do? Can we have a firm and unshakable moral knowledge? Dr. Mohler shows that we can, and how.
