Are Christians as Christians--and not merely as citizens--justified in engaging in political activism on public issues? Beckwith will deal with several issues including political liberalism and the Christian citizen, moral legislation, abortion, and public education. This class has a distinctly interdisciplinary flavor, moving from philosophy and theology to law and politics and back again.
